Ian Saville is a magician, actor, writer, director and academic who has performed for adults and children all over the world for the past 25 years. Venues include the National Theatre, Barbican Centre, Albert Hall, most London arts centres and theatres all over the UK.

Ian is well known for his "Socialist Magic" act, and the one-man shows which won him a Time Out Theatre Award.

Ian also performs as an actor, and has recently been involved in Theatre-in-Education projects, and has worked with Arc Theatre on Forum Theatre presentations.

Ian has also collaborated with singer-songwriter Leon Rosselson on shows for children and adults.

Ian has a degree in drama, a teaching qualification and a doctorate in Theatre Studies.
